ISG Dammam's New Campus is Taking Shape - January 2012

Scheduled to open during the 2013-2014 school year, ISG Dammam's new campus will have three, 3-story structures to house elementary, middle and high school programs as well as nursery and preschool programs for families. "The new school building is going to be a real shot in the arm for our whole school community,” explains John Rutten ISG Dammam’s Principal. “The excitement, enthusiasm, and joy surrounding the opening of our new campus will carry over into increased achievement, pride in their work, and compassion for one another."

Facilities will accommodate future growth and feature a large shared library, science laboratories, cafeteria, gymnasium and a 300-person auditorium. Several shaded multi-purpose athletic fields and playgrounds will complement the new academic facilities with computer labs, visual art and music rooms and a new home for ISG Dammam’s Global Language Center.

Photos taken during a recent site visit show signfiicant progress since the groundbreaking ceremony held earlier in March 2011. To read more about the ISG Dammam's 26-year history with the ISG District, the new campus, and to see photos of students and staff who participated in the groundbreaking ceremony, please consult the full article and photo gallery below.

The ISG Alumni Network Featured in NESA News - December 2011

Even though our students and staff must leave at some point, they will always be a part of the ISG educational community! The ISG Alumni Network provides an opportunity to “honor, value, and celebrate the contributions of our alumni while supporting current students and schools,” explains ISG Superintendent Norma Hudson. For more information about the alumni program and our student volunteers, please consult the article featured in the winter edition (see page 6) of NESA News.

For more information about the alumni program, our student volunteers and upcoming events, please consult the alumni page on this website. Watch for information regarding our end of the year reunion to be held in June 2012. Former students and staff are encouraged to contact the ISG District Alumni Office at alumni@isgdh.org to be added to the database.

Founded in 1962, ISG District (formerly SAIS) began with six students enrolled at the Consular Academy. ISG District has reconnected with several of our initial students from the early 1960s and will be sharing historical materials during the 50th Anniversary celebration planned later in 2012.

“Reconnecting with childhood friends after more than two decades,” explains alum Randall Brown, who helped to organize the Jubail Academy reunion this past summer at the Saudi Embassy in Washington, D.C., “has allowed us to renew old – and create new – friendships.” The ISG Alumni Network is helping to create new memories for our current and former students and staff from around the world!
