| Sept 1975 | Asir Academy opened at Khamis Mushayt under Saudi Arabian International Schools – Dhahran District (SAIS-DD) contract with Northrop Aircraft. |
| Sept 1976 | Dhahran Academy began its first kindergarten program (1/2 day). |
| Jan 1977 | The first SAIS-DD Rahima Academy opened under SAIS-DD contract with Aramco. |
| Jan 1977 | Udhailiyah Academy opened under SAIS-DD contract with Aramco. |
| Aug 1977 | Jubail Naval Base School opened under SAIS-DD contract with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. |
| Aug 1977 | Dhahran Academy divided into two schools: elementary and junior high. |
| Aug 1977 | Taif Academy opened under SAIS-DD contract with Northrop Aircraft. (This school was transferred to SAIS-DD from Parents’ Cooperative School in Jeddah.) |

| June 1978 | Udhailiyah Academy closed. Aramco took over the operation of the school. Dr. A. Ernest Weeks became Superintendent. |

| Aug 1979 | Jubail Naval Base School closed. |
| Aug 1981 | Dhahran Academy British Stream began with infant school classes. (These classes operated under the supervision of the Dhahran Academy International Elementary administrator.) |
| Nov 1981 | Al Batin Academy received accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. |
| March 1982 | The SAIS-DD American division schools received accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. |
| Aug 1982 | Dhahran Academy International Stream divided into three schools: primary, intermediate, and junior high. The Primary School Principal continued to supervise the British Stream. |
| Aug 1983 | The first Dhahran Academy British/Dutch Headmaster was employed. (Prior to this the Dhahran Academy Primary School Principal supervised the British Stream.) |
| Oct 1983 | Tahlea Academy British School opened (mid-October 1983) under an agreement between SAIS-DD and SWCC (Saline Water Conversion Corp.). During 1982 – 1983 school year, SAIS-DD partially operated Tahlea School, formerly called the New English School of Kuwait (under the headship of the British headmaster). |

| Aug 1984 | Qasim Academy opened under SAIS-DD contract with Aramco. |
| Aug 1984 | Tabuk Academy opened under SAIS-DD administration. (This school formerly operated in conjunction with Parents’ Cooperative School in Jeddah.) |
| Sept 1984 | The Dhahran German Academy opened. The school was previously operational, but unlicensed. |
| Sept 1984 | Tahlea Academy Dutch Stream opened. |
| May 1985 | Qasim Academy closed. |
| June 1985 | Abqaiq Academy closed. Dr. Charles Dan Brisbin became Superintendent. |
| June 1985 | The "first" SAIS-DD Rahima Academy closed. |
| Aug 1985 | The "new" Rahima Academy opened. The former English Model School and the "old" Rahima Academy merged. |
| Aug 1985 | Dhahran Academy opened a half-day junior kindergarten program for four-year-olds and extended the five-year-old kindergarten program to a full-day session. |
| June 1986 | Tahlea Academy closed except for the British reception, infant I, infant II classes, and a Dutch Kindergarten for four and five year olds. |
| Sept 1986 | Dhahran German Academy closed. |
| June 1987 | Al-Batin Academy closed. |

| Aug 1987 | Jubail Academy expanded program to include junior kindergarten ( age four/half-day), kindergarten (age five/full-day program), British reception, and infant I classes (both full-day programs). |
| June 1988 | Dhahran Academy Dutch Stream closed. |
| Aug 1989 | Dr. Donald Kirkpatrick became Superintendent. |
| Aug 1990 | New Abqaiq Academy opened with thirty-four students. |
| Aug 1991 | Medina School opened with three students. |
| July 1991 | Dr. Leo Ruberto became Superintendent. |
| Oct 1993 | SAIS-DD American division schools maintained accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. |
| June 1994 | Medina School closed. |
| June 1995 | Jubail Academy Dutch Stream closed. |
| Nov 1997 | SAIS-DD British division schools received inspection by the Offices of Standards and Education (OFSTED). |
| July 1998 | Dr. Brent Mutsch became Superintendent. |
| Dec 1998 | Rahima Academy closed. |
| Jan 1999 | Rahima Academy moved from Rahima and opened in Dammam. Saudi Arabian International Schools--Dhahran District changed name to International Schools Group. |
| June 1999 | Taif Academy closed. |
| Aug 1999 | High school programs started and included grades 10 and 11 at Dhahran Academy and Rahima Academy. Year 10 program started at Dhahran British Grammar School. |
| Sept 2000 | Grade 12 started at Dhahran Academy and Rahima Academy. Year 11 started at Dhahran British Grammar School. Grade 10 started at Yanbu International School. |
| Nov 2001 | Abqaiq Academy name changed to ISG- Bqaiq. Rahima Academy name changed to ISG- Dammam. Dhahran Academy name changed to Dhahran Elementary/Middle School and Dhahran High School. |
| July 2002 | Fred Bowen appointed Superintendent (Interim). |
| Sept 2002 | Nada International School opened. |
| June 2003 | Asir Academy closed. |
| June 2003 | Nada International School closed. |

| Sept 2003 | Dhahran Elementary/Middle School, Dhahran High School, Jubail American School, and Yanbu International School reaccredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. |
| Dec 2004 | International Division Schools (ISG-Bqaiq and ISG Dammam) accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. |
| Aug 2005 | Jubail American School and Jubail British School combined to become ISG Jubail. The International Primary Curriculum started for Grades Pre-KG – 6. The American curriculum continued for Grades 7 – 9. |
| Jan 2006 | Norma Hudson appointed Superintendent. |
| Aug 2006 | ISG Jubail adds Grade 10. |
| Aug 2008 | ISG Abqaiq closed. |

| May 2010 | Dhahran Baccalaureate Centre becomes an official candidate school of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). |

| May 2011 | Construction of a new campus for ISG Dammam officially begins with completion anticipated in December 2012. |
| Sept 2011 | Dhahran Baccalaureate Centre opens on the Dhahran Campus offering ISG's first IB Diploma Programme. Enrollment exceeds expectations with a cohort of 30 students. |
