The school is based on the ISG-adopted American curriculum. Staff and students use U.S. texts and materials. In addition to the core academic program which includes math, science, social studies, language arts, Arab culture, and physical education, the school's curriculum also includes a Global Language program that offers, Arabic, Filipino, French, Hindi and Urdu. Other specialized programs offered at ISG Dammam include, Technology, English as an Additional Language (EAL), and after-school activities. Special education services are not provided.

ISG Dammam is accredited by the Middle States Assocation of Colleges and Schools.

School activities promote the school's philosophy of developing the whole child. Students write for the quarterly school paper, practice leadership in the Student Council, develop effective writing and speaking skills for the annual ISG Dammam "Speak Out" program, show sportsmanship in the Mini Olympics, Sports Day, Intra-Kingdom/Inter-District events, and participate in other school programs.
