ISG Jubail Alumni Reunite at the Saudi Embassy in Washington, D.C. - Event Hosted by the Honorable Ambassador Adel Al-Jubeir - July 2011
A packed auditorium of alumni and family members enjoyed a presentation on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fashion show and delicious dinner buffet courtesy of the Ambassador Al-Jubeir of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, D.C. this past summer. The event was organized by a dedicated group of Jubail Academy alumni, headed up by Randall Brown. Alumni developed a JA Reunion Facebook Page to coordinate the event. ISG Superintendent Norma Hudson, the current Principal of ISG Jubail Mark McDougall and his wife, former ISG Board President Doug Holroyd and Catherine Geisen-Kisch of the ISG Alumni Office were also present. Alumni met over the course of the weekend to share memories and catch up on each others' lives, enjoy a traditional Middle Eastern meal and explore the vibrant streets of the U.S. capital.
ISG would like to recognize the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United States, the Honorable Ambassador Adel A. Al-Jubeir for his generosity in hosting the Embassy evening and our Jubail Academcy alumni who made this reunion possible. Randall Brown is a 1985 alum of the former Jubail Academy (ISG Jubail) and a 1978 alum of Rahima Academy (ISG Dammam).

ISG District Welcomes Nearly 80 Alumni - June 2011
On Saturday, June 11, 2011, nearly 80 alumni from ISG Eastern Province schools past and present reconnected on the Dhahran campus. The reunion was held in conjunction with DHS's Alumni Day event. Dhahran Academy Alum Wees Ibrahim served as keynote speaker. Currently a Project Management Engineer with Shade Corporation Ltd. in Saudi Arabia, Wees is the co-founder of the Dhahran Academy Facebook page and annual alumni reunions in Los Vegas. He also serves as the Middle Eastern representative for the University of Ann Arbor - Michigan Alumni Association.
Alumni from every graduating class since 2001, leaders and staff from ISG schools in Dammam, Jubail and the Dhahran campus American and British Division schools were represented!
Wees highlighted the value of the alumni program in raising awareness of ISG, and opportunities for the acceptance of ISG students, by top universities around the world. He also stressed the importance of giving back and supporting the schools which provided the foundation for our success.
ISG would like to thank Wees, our student and alumni intern volunteers and other alumni who helped to coordinate this successful event! To see a photo gallery and a summary of feedback from the reunion, please open the below PDF attachments. Contact ISG to share your pictures from the reunion!

Volunteers and Interns Welcomed Year-Round
Last year, ISG District worked with 4 brilliant alumni interns and more than 10 student volunteers to launch the ISG Alumni Network Facebook Page, develop our database, begin planning for an interactive alumni website and assist with other alumni and school programs.
Volunteers and interns are currently being sought for the 2011-2012 academic year. If you are a current student or an alum(a) who has some time on your hands and wants to make a difference, please get in touch with us. Alumni who are overseas can assist with international reunions and outreach while formalized internships are offered for those able to make a longer committment while on a gap year and/or visiting family in Kingdom.

ISG Alumni, Public Relations and Development
The ISG Worldwide Alumni Network is comprised of thousands of individuals who have been a part of our educational community from our inception in 1962 to the present day. As such, former ISG students and staff are part of an expansive and dynamic, world-wide network of people much larger than the specific ISG school from which they graduated or where they taught and/or attended school.
