ISG wishes to stay connected with our former students and staff and provide support to our alumni and schools through the development of an ISG Worldwide Alumni Network.
Goals of current outreach initiatives:
- Build connections with former students and staff because you are valued members of the ISG educational community and the foundation of our worldwide network.
- Provide updates regarding ISG proposed initiatives: the district database, survey initiative, website and Facebook, reunions and how to keep informed on progress as well as upcoming events.
- Gather input to learn more about your, our alumni, your needs and how you wish to be involved. Assess how your time with ISG helped to shape your life and explore ways to give back; drawing upon the particular interests/skills of our alumni to help spread the world and support our schools.

Update from ISG's Administrative Assistant for Public Relations, Alumni and Development
June 2010
Hello Everyone! Over the course of this year, ISG has realized important steps towards developing a world-wide network of ISG alumni (former students and staff).
In May and June, a reunion for alumni was held at the Dhahran campus for DEMS/DHS and at ISG Dammam to reconnect with alumni visiting family and those who continue to study or work in the Kingdom. Many events are being planned for the 2010-2011 school year.
A decision has been made to wait until the beginning of the 2010-11 school year to launch the alumni survey. Waiting until this time period will enable ISG to update all alumni records and prepare a quality survey to plan for future alumni programming. The survey will also help ISG plan for enhancements to our District website, a potential Facebook page and gather input to assist with public relations and student programming at our schools.
The ISG network is comprised of thousands of individuals who have been a part of our educational community from our inception in 1962 to the present day. As such, former ISG students and staff are part of a strong and dynamic, world-wide network of people much larger than the specific ISG school from which they graduated or where they taught and/or attended school; with over 5,800 ISG (formerly SAIS) alumni who are linked via various Facebook pages.
In the coming year, we will create a district-wide alumni database to help you tap into these contacts to assist you in your personal and professional life. Please help spread the word to your colleagues and encourage them to register as an ISG alumni. As always, do not hesitate to contact me with your questions and suggestions at alumni@isgdh.org.
